dear friends of jane vs world,
we have lots of news for you, let's get started!
MARCH, THE MADDEST MONTH OF THE YEAR
how's that for alliteration?
we have officially finished out national tour with our
final show in
brisbane over the weekend. we sure had a great time
getting to see lots of
people and places we haven't seen before. here is a
top 5.
1. the giant koala on the trip to adelaide (no really,
this thing was huge
...and ugly)
2. the town of keith - also on the trip to adelaide.
what a place! keith
this, keith that, who is this keith? maybe it's keith
richards?
3. gundagai on the hume highway. oh man, what a diner,
you guys have to go,
they have awesome pies, even if that dog on the tuckerthingy
is sort of
underwhelming.
4. in brisbane, a girl in a very tiny rabbit outfit
(pink, fluffy, you get
the idea) made a scene in front of the stage we were
playing on in the mall
and we got so distracted and put off that we forgot
a bunch of words and
chords. damn rabbit.
5. being showered with a packet of crushed up mi gorang
at our melbourne CD
launch to end the show! what an audio-visual spectacular!

JANE VS WORLD HIT THE ROAD (AGAIN)
after our whirlwind month of march, jane vs world are
hopping back into
jadey's judycar and driving to griffith for easter:
15th and 16th of April
Griffith Youth Festival
Griffith, Victoria
we're hoping we might be able to wrangle some hot cross
buns on the rider
after such a big drive. those ones with the chocolate
chips in them, have
you guys had those? oh man, they're unreal.
56K HEARTS EP
don't forget, if you missed us in adelaide or along
the east coast this
month and you would like to buy the '56k Hearts' EP,
then check out
www.popboomerang.com where you can purchase a copy,
or two, or three, or
fourteen.
HAVE WE MISSED ANYTHING?
sure! before we go, we'd like to thank all of you who
came out to support us
during our very first national tour. we sure have worked
hard to get our
first release out there and having so many of you turn
up to watch us play,
wish us luck and buy the EP really meant so much to
the two of us. we hope
we can all see you again really soon but until then,
we will keep in touch
with you all (and you keep in touch with us too!).
lots of love,
kate and jadey
xoxo
